Eclipse is an SVM network on Ethereum. It utilizes the Solana Virtual Machine for execution, settle to Ethereum, and post data to Celestia. Existing L2s have not scaled Ethereum. Eclipse aims to turbocharge Ethereum and pave the way for the Eclipse Economy, enabled by a Giga Scale Virtual Machine. Since going live, Eclipse has already reached a peak production TPS of near 9000, scaling Ethereum by orders of magnitude and enabling any application to build on-chain.
