1. What Is KYT?
KYT (Know Your Transaction) is an anti-money laundering (AML) compliance tool used to screen on-chain addresses and transactions for potential risks. By analyzing the historical transaction activity of an on-chain address, KYT helps identify whether the address may be associated with high-risk activities such as money laundering, fraud, or sanctioned entities.
This feature integrates with Elliptic, a third-party KYT service provider, to provide an external address risk screening service before withdrawals. You can use KYT to check potential risks associated with a destination address before initiating a withdrawal.
2. What Can You Do with KYT?
✅ Address Risk Screening
Enter an external wallet address and select the corresponding blockchain network to start a risk screening. The system will return the address risk level based on on-chain data, categorized as Low Risk, Medium Risk, or High Risk.
✅ Monthly KYT Quota for VIP Users
Different VIP levels are eligible for different numbers of KYT screenings per month. The quota resets at the beginning of each calendar month, and any unused screenings will not roll over to the following month.
✅ Screening History
You can view your KYT address screening history from the past 30 days, making it easier to review previous screening results.
3. How to Use KYT
Log in to the Bitunix website, click your profile icon in the upper-right corner of the homepage, and select [Account Security] from the drop-down menu. You will be redirected to the Account Security page.
On the Account Security page, scroll down to KYT Verification and click [Check] on the right. You will be redirected to the KYT Verification page.
On the KYT Verification page, enter the wallet address you want to screen in the input field under Wallet Address, and select the blockchain network to which the address belongs. After confirming that the information is correct, click [Verify Now]. You will be redirected to the verification results page.
KYT verification results are divided into three levels: High Risk, Medium Risk, and Low Risk. If an address is rated High Risk or Medium Risk, withdrawing to that wallet address may involve a higher level of security risk. We recommend carefully verifying the destination address and proceeding with caution before initiating a withdrawal.
Click [History] at the top of the KYT Verification page to view your previous KYT screening records. You can also view your remaining KYT screening quota at the bottom of the page. Once your monthly quota has been used up, you will not be able to use the KYT Verification feature again until the quota resets at the beginning of the next calendar month.

Q: Who can use the KYT feature?
A: You must be logged in to your Bitunix account and access the KYT feature through the platform. You must also have at least 1 remaining KYT screening available for the current month.
Q: How is the monthly KYT quota calculated? Do unused screenings roll over to the next month?
A: No. Your monthly quota is automatically reset at 00:00 (UTC+0) on the first day of each calendar month. Unused screenings do not roll over to the following month. For VIP0 users, the 1-time lifetime quota is not included in the monthly reset. Once used, it will not be restored. If unused, it will remain available.
Q: What happens to my KYT quota if my VIP level changes during the month?
A: If you upgrade, the difference between your new VIP quota and your current monthly quota will be added immediately. If you downgrade, the number of screenings already used during the month remains unchanged, and your remaining quota will be recalculated as new VIP quota − screenings already used.
Q: If I screen the same address multiple times, will the result be cached so that no quota is consumed?
A: No. Each new screening request calls the KYT service again and consumes 1 screening from your quota, even if the address has been screened previously. This allows the system to return the latest risk assessment.
Q: If an address is rated as High Risk, can I still withdraw to it?
A: Yes. KYT screening results are provided as risk alerts and do not automatically block withdrawals, even if an address is rated as High Risk. We recommend carefully verifying the destination address and assessing the associated risks before making a withdrawal.
Q: When will my KYT quota reset after I reach the monthly limit?
A: Your quota is automatically reset at 00:00 (UTC+0) on the first day of each calendar month based on your current VIP level.
