Dual Investment is a variable-yield digital asset investment product offered by Bitunix.
Users can select different directions based on their market expectations to earn a fixed return. Upon product maturity, both principal and returns will be settled in one of two currencies (such as BTC or USDT), depending on the market price at maturity.
Dual Investment is a non-principal-protected product and carries the risk of asset price fluctuations.
2、Product Features
Fixed Yield: The yield rate is locked in at the time of subscription and guaranteed at maturity.
Flexible Settlement: Settlement currency is determined automatically based on the market price at maturity.
High Annualized Yield: Typically higher than general savings or fixed-term financial products.
Flexible Tenors: Some products offer short terms of just a few days.
3、How It Works
Users can select participation modes based on their market outlook:
(1) Buy Low Mode
Investment Asset: USDT or other quote currencies
Objective: Purchase BTC at a target price and earn interest.
Settlement Scenarios:
- If the settlement price ≤ target price: USDT will automatically be used to purchase BTC at the target price, with returns settled in BTC.
- If the settlement price > target price: Principal and returns will be settled in USDT.
(2) Sell High Mode
Investment Asset: BTC or other base assets
Objective: Sell BTC at a target price and earn interest.
Settlement Scenarios:
- If the settlement price ≥ target price: BTC will be automatically sold at the target price and converted to USDT, with returns settled in USDT.
- If the settlement price < target price: Principal and returns will be settled in BTC.
4、Participation Requirements
Users must have a registered Bitunix account, complete KYC verification (non-restricted countries or regions), and maintain a normal account status.
Assets will be deducted from your spot account to complete the subscription.
Once subscribed, products cannot be canceled or redeemed before maturity.
5、Yield Calculation
Yield Rate: Refers to the return rate for the specific investment period.
Calculation Formula:
Yield Rate = Reference Annual Yield × (Tenor in Hours / 365 / 24)
6、Risk Warning
Dual Investment is a high-risk, non-principal-protected investment product.
If the settlement currency is different from the investment currency, and if market prices fluctuate significantly, the asset value may be lower than the original investment.
Please carefully assess your risk tolerance before participating.
7、Other Important Notes
Bitunix reserves the right to adjust, suspend, or terminate the product based on market conditions, with prior notice.
If a user is found engaging in violations (such as arbitrage or market manipulation), Bitunix reserves the right to disqualify the user and freeze the related assets.
8、FAQs
Q1: Can I redeem early?
A: Users can apply for early redemption up to 24 hours before the product's maturity. Once the early redemption request is approved, the settlement will take place at 08:30 (UTC) on the following day. The repayment currency will depend on whether the current price has reached the target price. If the target price is met, repayment will be made in the converted currency. If the current price has not reached the target, repayment will be made in the original currency.
Q2: What currency will be used for settlement?
A: Settlement will be based on the comparison between the settlement price and the target price at maturity.
Q3: How are returns distributed?
A: Principal and returns will be automatically credited to your spot account upon maturity.
