📌 Address & Coin Issues
Q1: What if I withdraw to the wrong address?
If the address format is valid but points to someone else's wallet or a non-existent destination, Bitunix will still process the transaction and mark it as "Completed" in your withdrawal history.
Key points:
- Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Once confirmed on-chain, the funds cannot be reversed or recovered.
- Bitunix cannot retrieve the funds on your behalf. You will need to contact the receiving party directly to resolve the issue.
⚠️ Prevention tip: Always double-check the address character by character before submitting, or send a small test amount first. We recommend using copy → paste to avoid typos.
Q2: What if I withdrew a coin that the receiving exchange or wallet doesn't support?
Bitunix only validates the format of the receiving address at the time of withdrawal — we cannot verify whether the destination actually supports the coin you're sending. If the coin is unsupported, the funds may not appear in the receiving wallet.
Solutions (choose based on your situation):
- The receiving platform supports a direct return
- The receiving platform supports only an auto-return, but the funds did not credit back automatically
- The receiving platform offers an alternative solution and needs Bitunix's cooperation
🔒 Withdrawal Limits & Security
Q3: Why are there withdrawal limits?
To protect user assets, Bitunix sets daily withdrawal limits based on your account's security level:
| Security Level | Requirements | Daily Withdrawal Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | One security verification enabled (email / phone / Google Authenticator — any one) | Equivalent to 10,000 USD |
| Advanced | Multiple security verifications + KYC verification completed | Increased limit (check your account page for details) |
How to increase your limit?
- Enable additional security verifications on your account (we recommend enabling at least Google Authenticator + phone verification).
- Complete KYC (identity verification) to unlock higher withdrawal limits.
⏱️ Pending Withdrawals & Confirmations
Q4: My withdrawal hasn't arrived — what should I do?
A blockchain transfer goes through three stages. Check each one to locate the bottleneck:
① Initiation
If your Bitunix withdrawal history shows "Completed" or "Successful," the funds have been sent from Bitunix to the blockchain network. However, this does not mean the receiving platform has credited the deposit.
② Blockchain Confirmation
Every on-chain transaction requires a certain number of block confirmations before the receiving platform will accept it. Confirmation times vary by network. You can track progress via a blockchain explorer (e.g., TronScan, Etherscan).
③ Credit to Account
Once the required number of confirmations is reached, the receiving platform will credit the deposit. If the blockchain explorer shows "Confirmed" but the funds still haven't appeared, contact the receiving platform for assistance.
⚠️ Common causes of delay: Network congestion, insufficient confirmations, or receiving-side maintenance. In most cases, the deposit will arrive after a short wait.
📉 Available vs. Wallet Balance
Q5: Why is my available withdrawal amount less than my wallet balance?
Your available withdrawal amount may be lower than your total wallet balance for two common reasons:
Reason 1: Open orders
When you have unfilled limit orders in the market, part of your balance is locked in those orders.
Example: Your wallet balance is 10 ETH, but you have an open sell order for 1 ETH. Your available withdrawal amount is 9 ETH.
Solution: Cancel the open order, or account for the locked amount when calculating your withdrawal.
Reason 2: Deposit not yet fully confirmed on-chain
Recently deposited funds must reach the required number of on-chain confirmations before they become available for withdrawal. Until then, the funds appear in your total balance but are not yet withdrawable.
Solution: Wait for the deposit confirmations to complete — your withdrawal balance will update automatically.
🏷️ MEMO / Tag Explained
Q6: Why do some coins require a MEMO or Tag when withdrawing?
Certain coins (e.g., XRP, EOS, ATOM) use a shared-address architecture, meaning the exchange uses a single deposit address for all users. A MEMO or Tag is a unique identifier paired with the address to distinguish each user's deposit and credit it to the correct account.
- When withdrawing: Always fill in both the correct address and MEMO / Tag.
- Missing or incorrect MEMO: Funds may not be credited to the intended account.
⚠️ What if I entered the wrong MEMO?Contact Bitunix live support or submit a ticket immediately, providing:The coin and amount withdrawnThe correct MEMO and the incorrect MEMO you enteredThe transaction Hash (TXID)
🚫 Delisted Coins
Q7: Can I still withdraw a delisted coin?
When a coin is scheduled for delisting, Bitunix will publish an advance notice and provide a grace period during which you can still withdraw the asset.
- During the grace period: You can initiate withdrawals for the delisted coin as normal.
- After the grace period: The withdrawal channel will be closed, and withdrawals will no longer be possible.
⚠️ Recommendation: Stay up to date with Bitunix announcements and withdraw any delisted coin assets before the deadline to avoid losing access.
🔒 Security Checklist
⚠️ Before every withdrawal, confirm the following:Verify network & address: Ensure the withdrawal network matches the receiving platform's deposit network. Confirm the address character by character.Check MEMO / Tag: If the coin requires one, never leave it blank.Test first: When withdrawing to a new address for the first time, send a small test amount to confirm it arrives before sending the full amount.Protect your credentials: Never share your password, SMS codes, or Google Authenticator codes with anyone.Stay informed: Regularly check platform announcements for delisting notices and other time-sensitive updates.
