2.Product Definition
Bitunix strictly follows global Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulatory requirements for the digital asset industry and is committed to building a secure and compliant trading ecosystem.
When an account triggers the risk control review process, users may be required to submit a Trading Activity Verification Video of their external exchange trading records, along with a written explanation of their trading rationale.
Through real-person recordings of third-party exchange account information and historical futures trading data, Bitunix verifies that users' trading activities on the platform have a reasonable trading background and are performed by the account owners themselves. This helps prevent risks such as abnormal trading volume manipulation, irregular fund circulation, and violations related to money laundering, while supporting the security of user assets and Bitunix's overall compliance operations.
3.Step-by-Step Verification Video Guide
Preparation Before Recording
Ensure a stable internet connection and a well-lit recording environment before starting the recording. Avoid screen glare or blurry footage. Choose one of the following two recording setups:
- Computer + Mobile Phone Setup: Log in to the external trading platform using a computer. Use the mobile phone camera to record the entire operation process.
- Two-Mobile Phone Setup: Use Mobile Phone A to log in to the third-party exchange account. Use Mobile Phone B to record the entire process.
How to Record the Video? Before recording, make sure you have a stable internet connection and your devices are ready. Please record the video in one continuous take, with no pauses, edits or cuts.
Step 1: Prepare Your Setup
You may use two devices to ensure a clear and complete recording:
- If using a computer:
Log in to the exchange platform (the one you used for trading, e.g. Binance, OKX, Bybit) on your computer.
Use your mobile phone to record the entire process clearly.
- If using a mobile phone:
Phone A: Log in to the exchange platform (the one you used for trading, e.g. Binance, OKX, Bybit).
Phone B: Open the camera app and record the entire process.
Make sure the recording device can clearly capture the full screen and all transaction details. Ensure the environment is bright, and all information is visible and readable.
Step 2: Start Recording
- Begin recording before logging in to your exchange platform (the one you used for trading, e.g. Binance, OKX, Bybit).
- Record the full verification process — log in to the exchange platform you use for trading. ( Excluding Bitunix)
Note: You do not need to show any passwords. This step is to verify that you are the legitimate owner of the external account.
Step 3: Go to Your Profile Section
- Once logged in, go to your Profile (usually by tapping your profile picture or account icon).
- Make sure your exchange UID or account identifier is clearly visible in the video.
Step 4: Open Your Futures Trading History Page
- Navigate to your Futures Trading History page.
- Show your trading records for the past three months.
- Make sure the following details are clearly visible in the video:
1、Profit and loss (PnL)
2、Trading pairs and order types
3、Transaction timestamps
Step 5: Explain Your Trading Logic
After recording the video, please write a short explanation of your trading habits and strategy.
Please briefly describe your trading logic or strategy, including:
- The exchange(s) you usually trade on
- The types of assets or pairs you commonly trade
- Your typical position size and holding duration
- The main factors influencing your entry and exit decisions
Please send both your video recording and trading logic explanation to our official email: [email protected].
Once received, our compliance team will review your submission and contact you with further updates. Thank you for your cooperation, understanding, and support in helping us maintain a transparent and compliant trading environment.
4.Risk Control and Important Notes
Video Recording Requirements:
The video must be recorded continuously from start to finish. Any interruptions, post-production editing, or segmented recordings will result in rejection.
Video Quality Requirements:
Avoid recording from a distance or in environments with strong reflections. All text, numbers, UID information, and trading data must be clearly visible and readable.
Rejected Submission Types:
Screen recordings, screenshot compilations, and videos created by combining images will not be accepted. Only real-person recordings captured with a physical camera are acceptable.
Security Protection:
During recording, users may cover sensitive information such as passwords, two-factor authentication codes, and bank card details. There is no need to expose private information unnecessarily. This helps reduce the risk of account information leakage.
Submission Requirements:
The video and written explanation must be submitted together as a complete set. Submissions missing either required material will not be accepted by Bitunix.
Data Authenticity:
All submitted information must come from the user's genuine account data. Any falsification, image editing, or modification of trading records may result in account restrictions and further compliance review.
5.FAQ
Q1: Why does Bitunix require me to submit a Trading Activity Verification Video from an external exchange?
This is part of Bitunix's standard Anti-Money Laundering (AML) due diligence process. It is used to verify that your trading activities have a reasonable background and to identify risks such as abnormal fund circulation or prohibited arbitrage activities, in compliance with global regulatory requirements.
Q2: Can I pass the review by submitting only screen recordings and screenshots?
No. Bitunix only accepts real-person recordings captured through a camera. Screen recordings alone cannot verify that the account owner personally performed the operations and will be rejected during the review process.
Q3: What should I do if the recording is interrupted due to an unexpected connection issue?
You must record the entire video again from the beginning. Additional footage cannot be added to continue an interrupted recording.
Q4: How long does it take to receive the review result after submitting the required materials?
The submission will be manually reviewed by the Bitunix Compliance Team. After the review is completed, the result and any further instructions will be sent to the registered email address.
Q5: Do I need to show all futures orders from the full 3-month period?
Yes. Reviewers use continuous historical order records to evaluate your actual trading patterns. An incomplete time range may prevent the verification from being completed effectively.
Q6: Are there any formatting requirements for the written trading rationale explanation?
No specific format is required. Simply provide a clear and straightforward explanation of your trading strategy and operating habits. Professional or complex analysis is not required.
