Bitunix does not provide the Services in certain countries, regions, or other jurisdictions (collectively, the "Prohibited Jurisdictions"). The Prohibited Jurisdictions currently include, but are not limited to, the United States (including all U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands, as well as U.S. Minor Outlying Islands such as Baker Island, Howland Island, Jarvis Island, Johnston Atoll, Kingman Reef, Midway Islands, Navassa Island, Palmyra Atoll, and Wake Island), Canada (including Alberta), Mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, North Korea, Cuba, Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Afghanistan, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Lebanon, Somalia, the United Arab Emirates, France, Russian-controlled regions of Ukraine (currently including Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk), Sevastopol, Malaysia, Seychelles, and any other jurisdiction that Bitunix may designate from time to time. This list may be updated at any time to reflect changes in applicable laws, regulatory requirements, international sanctions, or Bitunix's internal risk assessments.
The Services are not available to anyone who is physically located in a Prohibited Jurisdiction. Accessing the Services through a VPN, proxy service, GPS spoofing tool, or any other method designed to hide or disguise your location, or otherwise bypass geographic restrictions, is not permitted. If this happens, Bitunix may suspend or terminate your account, close any open positions, restrict your access to the Services, or take any other action permitted under these Terms or applicable law.
Additionally, Bitunix also does not provide the Services to any individual or entity that is subject to applicable sanctions or appears on any applicable sanctions list, including the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List (SDN List), the EU Consolidated Financial Sanctions List, and the UK Sanctions List. This restriction also applies to any entity that is owned, directly or indirectly, individually or in the aggregate, 50% or more by one or more sanctioned persons. Bitunix may also apply additional restrictions where required by applicable law, regulatory requirements, international sanctions, or where we reasonably determine that a person, entity, or jurisdiction presents legal, regulatory, financial crime, or reputational risks.
We regularly review the list of Prohibited Jurisdictions and may update it from time to time. If you are uncertain about your eligibility, please seek independent legal advice before using our services.
This Notice forms an integral part of the User Agreement and shall have the same legal force and effect as it.
